Purpose: Prepare the critical care nurse for the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses’ (AACN) specialty certification exam to achieve CCRN certification.
- Describe the pathophysiology, risk factors, clinical presentation, diagnosis, and treatment for each system
- Describe critical thinking in professional caring and ethical practice as identified by using the AACN Synergy Model of Patient Care
- Practice test taking skills by utilizing practice and discussing answer rationales
- Discuss test taking techniques and study methods to prepare for success on the CCRN exam
Successful Completion of the Continuing Nursing Education Activity: In order to receive full credit for this activity, you must be in attendance for at least 80% of the event, attend both days, sign the roster, and complete and submit the evaluation form.
