You will learn how a newborn transitions from intrauterine to extrauterine life, normal crying patterns of a newborn, sensations of the uterus, creating sensations of the uterus, the five “S” created by Dr. Harvy Karp, how to swaddle safely, safe forms of white noise, and normal newborn behaviors. The second half of class will be a demonstration of correct swaddle for safe sleep, the 5 "S", and suggestions for use
