Bleeding Control Basic Course

This free course is designed to train the general public on what to do in a bleeding emergency and methods to stop an active bleed.

The Bleeding Control Basic Course gives participants the necessary tools to become an empowered initial responder by training them on what to do in a bleeding emergency and covers the ABCs of bleeding as a method to stop an active bleed. 

The course includes a class presentation and hands-on skills demonstration on tourniquet  application, wound packing, and pressure application. At the conclusion, participants will receive a certificate of completion and will have the opportunity to purchase a personal tourniquet. Event is held in the Greenhut Auditorium near the 9th Avenue entrance to Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola.
