This free class is designed to help parents, teachers, and community participants acquire a foundational knowledge regarding the scientific principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and how they can be used to improve behavior and increase skills. Strategies for managing everyday challenges will be incorporated throughout the presentation. While the class is geared toward families of children with autism, the principles apply to everyone, and classes are open to the community. Classes are two hours in length. On Saturdays, participants have the option of staying an additional hour for the topic, “What to look for in an ABA provider.”
