Eleanor King, MD, Family Medicine

A Brief History of Vaccines.  Learn about the history of vaccines and how they have become such an important yet controversial part of society.

Features:  This will be a journey through the rich history of vaccines as told by a humble family physician with an appreciation for a good story.

Dr. Eleanor King studied medicine at Wayne State University and completed residency at Crittenton Hospital.  She joined the teaching program shortly after graduating and currently serves as the Medical Director at Rochester Academic Family Medicine. Before studying medicine, Dr. King attended a liberal arts school where she was able to pursue a variety of interests including botany, business, Latin and so much more!  Her passion for learning is what drove her to study medicine as she figured it was the longest way possible to "stay in school".  Dr. King currently enjoys teaching Wayne State Residents, spending time with my family and reading everything. She welcomed her first child and son in March 2020 and they love to learn together.
