Breastfeeding With Confidence St Francis Hospital

This class is designed to build your confidence and skills for breastfeeding your newborn.

*Fee: $20.00

Registration is required.
Join the class that is designed to build your confidence and skills for breastfeeding your newborn. Topics include:
  • how to prepare for breastfeeding
  • positioning your newborn
  • LATCH
  • how to feel confident your newborn is getting enough breast milk
  • how your family can support your decision to breastfeed
  • pumping and how to prepare for going back to work

Breast pumps and breastfeeding products will be displayed and discussed. Dad or your support person should attend, as class includes ways that others can support breastfeeding.

*The expectant mother should register for this class and note the support person attending class also on the registration page. Please register while in your fifth or sixth month of pregnancy to attend during the seventh or eighth month, so you can best retain what you learn.

**If your class required payment, refunds will be given if class cancellation request is received 2 business days (48 hours) prior to the start of the class/program.  Full refund given for any class cancelled by the site.
