Breastfeeding and Beyond is a support group for new moms to connect with each other and support one another with all aspects of motherhood in the first year. Facilitated by lactation consultants with Mom/Baby and NICU backgrounds, we cover a number of topics including, but not limited to:
- Spoon-feeding/baby led weaning
- Infant activity
- Postpartum depression
- Infant skin care
- Infant Safety
- Sleep habits
The discussions are driven by the group and all mothers are welcome regardless of their breastfeeding status.
An infant scale is also available for weights if desired.
This FREE casual group meets every Thursday from 3:00 - 4:30 pm In the NICU Classroom. Please meet the facilitator in the NICU Lobby. Late arrivals can call 414-874-6528.
Registration is NOT required to attend!
Classes are provided in English unless otherwise stated. If you require language assistance please let us know when you call. We are happy to support your communication needs through interpreter resources.
In an effort to keep everyone healthy... if your child is experiencing any fever, runny nose, or respiratory symptoms, please do not attend the group until illness is resolved.
