Your musculoskeletal system plays an important role in your health, and exercising is a great way to keep you strong and active. Come learn some basic core strengthening exercises which are helpful to do after labor and delivery. It is important to keep in mind the pelvic floor muscles are part of your core and may also benefit from rehabilitation so you take care of your little one in the best way possible.
This class is led by a physical therapist that specializes in treating the pelvic floor and women during and after pregnancy.
* This class can be taken by women of all ages, no matter when your birth experience occurred (e.g. 4 weeks, 4 months, or 4 years!) Moms with infants are welcome to bring their baby.
This class series will be held at the Columbia-St. Mary's Women's Hospital - Milwaukee Campus in the Nicholas Family Education Classroom.
