Breastfeeding Getting Started ACSM Milwaukee

This class is designed to build your confidence and skills for breastfeeding your newborn.

Topics include:

  • How to prepare for breastfeeding
  • Positioning your newborn
  • How to feel confident your newborn is getting enough breast milk
  • How your family can support your decision to breastfeed

* We recommend that you attend this class during the seventh or eighth month of your pregnancy, so you can best retain what you learn.  We are proud to offer this program for every mom-to -be that is interested,  regardless of the ability to pay.  Please call 414-447-2622 for scholarship information.

This class series will be held at the Columbia-St. Mary's Women's Hospital - Milwaukee Campus in the Nicholas Family Education Classroom.

The expectant mother should register for this class and note the support person attending class also on the registration page.
