Topic for February 13th 2020: Sleep and Diabetes
These days, we are learning more and more about our sleep. People use fitness trackers to see how much sleep they got, and magazines give tips for better sleep. At the same time, researchers are identifying all the health benefits that come from good sleep. This presentation will focus on ways to improve sleep. It will also describe the sleep disorders that can interfere with a good night’s sleep. The presentation will show why it’s important to consider your sleep as you manage your diabetes.
This presentation will be given by Catherine C. Loomis, Sleep Psychologist, Ph.D., C.B.S.M.
