A New You: Continuing Care and Support

Surgery gives you a physical tool to assist with weight loss, but you must be committed to making the mental and emotional changes necessary for long-term weight loss and maintenance.

Success includes your commitment to regularly taking vitamins and supplements, eating healthy, exercising and attending all follow-up visits. You will continue to see your surgery team frequently after surgery. Our team is available at your follow-up visits as well as by phone to help you with your lifestyle changes.

You will continue to see your surgeon periodically — usually four-six weeks, three months, and six months after surgery. You will have an annual appointment after surgery. Our team is available at your follow-up visits as well as by phone to help you with your lifestyle changes.

We offer regular support groups to help you stay focused and healthy throughout your post-operative weight-loss journey. Registration is not required.
